Orthopaedic Surgeons & Training
Orthopaedic surgeons will need to complete a total of 14 years training to be considered fully qualified. Orthopaedic surgeons training is broken down into 4 years of undergraduate training, 4 years of medical school, 1 year general surgery training, 4 years training in orthopaedic surgery and 1 year fellowship training.
